About Nicola
As a qualified nutritional therapist and health coach I believe by addressing nutritional and lifestyle imbalances at any age we can optimise our health. This can contribute to a happy and healthy life as we age, extending our health span into the later decades of life.
I use nutritional therapy and coaching techniques to empower people through one to one programmes, enabling them with the knowledge and tools to embed new, sustainable nutritional and lifestyle practices.
I believe the food we eat underpins our health and wellbeing and with optimum health, we can reduce our reliance on the NHS and medications. Whilst my interest is in healthy ageing, I work with adults of all ages; it is never too early to start prioritising and optimising your health as this in turn can contribute to a happy and healthy future. Together, we can embark on a journey towards a healthier, more vibrant future.

My Journey to Nutritional Therapy
My own health experiences led me to nutritional therapy, having struggled with gut issues since my childhood. After many years of feeling unsupported and not listened to by conventional medicine, I turned to complementary and alternative treatments. I always had a keen interest in food and what I consumed but it wasn’t until I moved overseas, to Japan and then Italy, that I experienced a different identity of food – where it was a huge part of life and it’s impact on the body is recognised and valued. Having spent over two decades working for the UK government I decided to take the plunge and embark on a journey to retrain and work in a field I feel passionately about and to help others discover the power food can have on their health.

I completed my Diploma in Health Coaching at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and then went on to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist with the University of Worcester. I am registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
